Becca is a Digital Asset Librarian and Digital Preservation specialist who exceeds at drawing upon, organizing, and articulating connections between seemingly disparate pieces of information across multi-media within the museum and cultural heritage space. She is currently responsible for managing the Brooklyn Museum’s DAMS workflow, including data governance, information lifecycles, and advocating for end users.
Becca received a BA in Cinema Studies from SUNY Purchase College and an MLIS from Rutgers University with a concentration in Archives and Preservation. Her areas of interest include leveraging metadata to increase accessibility, with a focus in the DEIA space. Prior to the Brooklyn Museum, she has held positions in various industries including Media & Entertainment and E-commerce.
