Bruce has a lengthy history in the museum field including time at Second Story Interactive Studios, six years as the CIO / Director of Technology at the Denver Art Museum, Nearlife (an MIT media-lab startup), and the New England Aquarium.
Bruce has spent most of the last three decades doing museum work focusing on both museum and technology strategy, build, and implementation, exhibit design, website strategy and development, content development, user experience and interface design, and special technology projects. He has consulted for a diverse range of museums both in content and scale, constantly pushing for innovation and excellent user experience throughout the field. Uniquely, Bruce also directs exhibit design and experience, website direction and integration, developing content and unusual uses of technology ranging from interactive rooms, vision sensing systems, building custom circuitry, experience with embedded technologies, as well as building multitouch tables from scratch. This broad background of experience in a variety of disciplines gives Wyman a unique perspective on both the capabilities and future of the museum field at the intersection of digital, experience, and content.
