With more than 30 years of experience in the field of digital asset management, Folke is today the Product Owner Omnichannel Content at Richemont. After having initially been responsible for the introduction and roll-out of a central DAM to Richemont’s Luxury Maisons, he initiated and defined the vision for a group-wide Omnichannel Content Platform 3 years ago, bringing together PIM and DAM and adding centralized management of contextualization.
Today, he is overseeing the evolution of the OCP, ensuring it meets the fast-changing requirements of both the content contributors and consumers.
Prior to that Folke successfully transformed the prestigious image library of WWF International from analog photo archive to a state-of-the-art online photo service for WWF’s national offices across the globe.
In his early years, Folke shuttled back and forth between the worlds of commercial photo agencies and DAM solution providers (even before the term DAM existed), where he had the chance to work closely with renowned photographers (MAGNUM), governmental and non-governmental organization, museums, corporates, and leading press-agencies to help them organize their photographic archives
