Pamala Buzick Kim (she/her), a proud Korean-American, has built her career at the intersection of creativity and operations. As the Executive Director of FREE THE WORK, she transformed the nonprofit from having 6 donors to over 150, many of whom are Fortune 100 companies or leaders in their fields. Pamala's leadership also cultivated a vibrant global community of over 18,000 underrepresented creators behind the camera, institutionalizing her processes at brands and ad agencies worldwide.
Her work has earned significant recognition, including honors from Gloria Steinem's Ms. Foundation as an emerging feminist leader. Pamala serves on the boards of the Black Entertainment Economic Council and Green the Bid, and advises for GSD&M and McDonald’s. Known for her unique blend of straightforwardness and empathy, she dismantles systemic barriers and drives collective efforts to foster meaningful change.
