Charlotte acts for a range of international clients, including institutional investors, developers, operators, banks and funds on all kinds of transactions involving commercial and residential property.
She has developed particular expertise in complex development transactions in the hotel and leisure industry, advising on the whole lifecycle of a scheme - from the identification and acquisition of a site, through to the development phase, financing and eventual opening.
Charlotte's experience includes:
- OWO – advising on the £1.3bn redevelopment of the Old War Office in Whitehall into an ultra-luxury Raffles branded hotel and apartment complex.
- Silverstone Racing Circuit – advising the owners of the Silverstone motor racing circuit on the development of 60 new luxury residences, offering the first purpose-built motorsport focused hotel in the UK.
- Embassy Gardens - advising on the development of three large scale London mixed use development projects, including Phase 2 of Ballymore’s Embassy Gardens scheme in Nine Elms. In total, the projects have a gross development value of approximately £2.2bn and deliver close to 2,500 units of private residential apartments.
- Immingham Port – advising a Swedish ferry operator on their joint development with Associated British Ports of a new £100m freight terminal at Immingham Port, a major port on the East Coast of England.
- The Future Works - advising a private equity house on its acquisition of a development site in Slough and funding of the planned 250,000sq ft office-led regeneration project on the site.
