Embracing Change: AI is an Opportunity
Change can be daunting, yet it also offers immense potential. It is powerful, profound, and necessary. It gives us a chance to do better; to be better. Typically, as humans, we tend to resist change, often for valid reasons. However, when confronted with disruptive change, it is worth taking another look.
In the midst of this unparalleled technological upheaval, it’s essential to acknowledge that technology merely acts as a catalyst. The real change: the fundamental change, emerges from people just like you and me.
As an industry we’ve always been in flux. Frankly, we’ve not just survived but thrived because of it. Join Peter as we delve into the profound shifts within our work and industry, unveiling the opportunity it creates for all of us to create better.

Creativity Has A New Home
Changing Times for In-House Agencies
In a time of dwindling marketing budgets and brands increasing their creative requirements, the role of in-house creative departments has changed dramatically. As with all big changes, as well as demanding challenges, new opportunities are created - for both creatives and agencies alike.
Orlagh Marnane, Head of The Mix Dublin, the global in-house agency and production company for Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard, along with Gemma Stack (Senior Producer) and Greg McLoughlin (Creative Director) will share how they have shaped The Mix Dublin to create a new type of hybrid creative agency, one that works as a true strategic partner for its brands - creating and producing standout International creative work for Jameson Irish Whiskey, Redbreast, The Spot Whiskeys and many more brands across our Irish Whiskey portfolio. While, at the same time, recognising the importance of partnering with and fostering relationships with external creative agencies, production companies and the wider creative community.
The in-house agency model is here to stay, but not necessarily at the expense of anyone else. It’s an opportunity for us all to create even better work. We all just need to be ready to mix things up.
Join Gemma, Greg and Orlagh as they share invaluable insights into the transformative power of change, teeming with creative possibilities.
London Creative Summit 2024: Embracing ‘The Power of Change’
Four Chairs of the Four Events Reveal Key Takeaways
Unmissable!
We bring together the chairs of the four co-located events: Creative Operations, DesignOps, Photo Studio Operations, and Creative Production to delve into the profound impacts of change on the creative landscape.
This end-of-day gathering transcends the ordinary. The chairs share insights, strategies and take-home messages that have impressed them most (and they are not easily impressed).
- Discover the trends reshaping the creative landscape
- Hear about the breakthrough technologies that are propelling innovation
- Learn what are the new and emerging challenges that confront modern creative output and how they can be overcome
This panel goes beyond assertion. It analyses, it evaluates, and it interacts with you (the most important participants in the session).
The panel covers all four events. Bring your burning questions, your opinions, and your expertise.
Panel members will answer all questions and respond to all opinions. A dynamic exchange is planned – fast-moving, rapid-fire ‘popcorn’ style - but always rooted in ‘knowledge in practice’ and ‘on-the-job’ experience
A great opportunity to engage with some of the leading practitioners in the industry and be part of the conversation that defines ‘The Power of Change’ in the world of creativity.
With Patrick Burgoyne, Co-Founder of IHALC, Nicky Russell, Managing Partner at WDC, Patrizia Bertini, Design Operations Strategy at 8x8, Mark Stocker, Senior Creative Manager at The Very Group and Mali Okoi-Obuli, Founder of OURHouse.
