DAM’s Critical Role in the Modern Marketing Ecosystem

Jody Neckles is a solution architect at Backlight. He has 20+ years of experience in the media and entertainment industry and has contributed to over 50 major projects for global broadcasters, production companies, and film studios. His areas of expertise encompass asset management, newsroom workflow design, remote and cloud production, and omnichannel delivery.

Jessica Berlin has over 20 years of experience in DAM and Creative Services Management. She has managed global teams and she enjoys leading the process for new and existing initiatives regarding DAM. In her work she has been responsible for the creation and management of governance, metadata management, workflows, and integrations related to distribution of digital assets. She has worked for companies such as Stanley Black and Decker and the American Cancer Society.

Connie Bravo joined Spring Health in July 2023. She’s currently the Senior Manager, Marketing Technology and Analytics. She has worked in marketing for nearly 20 years, including more than a decade with a hyper-focus on Ops/Platform/Data and reporting. She lives in Colorado.

Erik Mohn is the Team Lead of the Enterprise Customer Success team at Frontify. In his role, Erik supports Enterprise brands that are struggling with fragmented processes, disorganized assets, gaps in collaboration, and overall brand consistency. He gets to join them on their journey as they overcome these challenges and start to scale brand storytelling that resonates with their audiences.

Emily is the Director of Creative Production at Saatva in Los Angeles, California. With 15 years of experience, her productions are inspired by creativity and driven by an entrepreneurial mindset. She expertly translates business objectives into creative content.

Sara has nearly fifteen years of experience in the arts industry of Melbourne, working for cultural institutions including the National Gallery of Victoria, Arts Centre Melbourne, The Melbourne Writers Festival and most recently The Australian Ballet.

Sara has been with The Australian Ballet for over seven years in roles ranging from customer experience and specialty ticketing to merchandise coordinator, and her current role as Content Hub Specialist where she oversees the daily use and maintenance of their new digital asset management system.

Chris founded AVP, a digital asset management consulting firm, in 2006 with a focus on putting digital assets at the fingertips of users, making them easier to access, share, protect, and put to good use. He has thoughtfully developed a team of cross-disciplinary experts who review every facet of a client’s digital ecosystem, from governance to technology, and everything in between. Chris continues to lead AVP’s ongoing growth and success, having supported over 250 customers including Spotify, Smithsonian, HBO, Meta, Library of Congress, MoMA, Paramount Pictures, and Yale University.

Nicolas is the DAM Librarian for Oatly, the Swedish oat drink company that maybe you have heard about. From the Oatly headquarters in Malmö, he manages the DAM on the Bynder platform for a team with members worldwide, in EMEA, APAC and North America. 

Before moving to Sweden and working for Oatly, Nicolas was the Film & Video Manager at (DER) Documentary Educational Resources. He has also taught film and video production at SMFA, Tufts University, Emerson College, the Massachusetts College of Art and others.
