Irene started her professional teaching career in 1996 as a junior part-time lecturer at the University of the Free State (South Africa) and gradually transitioned into a senior lecturer position at the University of South Africa. During this journey she did a ‘tango’ and alternated her work as manager and lecturer in the corporate environment with lecturing at university level, teaching undergraduate, post-basic and Master-degree students and supervise PhD-students.

Professor Daneel van Lill serves as the University of Johannesburg (UJ) Executive Dean: College of Business and Economics (CBE). Daneel is a teacher and researcher at heart and values learning, quality relationships and making sense of the future serving as his coordinates over the past decade as Dean.

Dr Thomas Wahl is Dean at the school of business, society and engineering at Mälardalen University in Sweden since 2012. His mission as dean has been to develop an institution of high academic standard engaged in global challenges with a focus on sustainable development, gender equality and digitalization. He has a Ph.D in sociology and has been conducting his research in the area of social studies of science. He teaches in management discourse and business ethics.

Dr Lynn Fulford is the Associate Dean in the Faculty of Business, Law and Social Sciences at Birmingham City University.  Dr Fulford’s portfolio as Associate Dean covers the student experience, including student satisfaction, the access and participation plan and learning and teaching.
