Naseer has worked with marketing teams across commercial, federal and NGO spaces to develop strategic digital marketing solutions. With his roots as a developer, Naseer brings a unique perspective to asset management, both maximizing productivity for the marketer and integrating processes and systems across the enterprise.

Events Event Speaker Becky Karabatos

Becky is an informational professional who finds ways to bring traditional library and archival theory to non-traditional settings.  She is currently a taxonomy and metadata strategist for product, digital asset management, and content marketing for TripAdvisor Experiences.  Becky implemented her first DAM in graduate school, but her sister helped her set up her first library on a rainy day in 1985 in the basement of their parents’ house.

Events Speaker Michelle Roell

Michelle Roell is a Taxonomy Consultant working for clients via Kforce. Her current assignment includes developing and maintaining taxonomies and metadata for an audio production DAMS and no/low-code workflow tools helping creative operations teams plan their campaigns. She leads data governance groups with internal subject matter experts, writes and maintains documentation and advocates for shared data foundations across teams.

Events Speaker Andrea Kalas

Andrea is head of Asset Management at Paramount Pictures. Prior to Paramount Andrea has been Head of Preservation at the British Film Institute, Digital Studio Director for Discovery Communications, Archivist for Dreamworks SKG and preservationist and research database expert at UCLA Film and Television Archive. She is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and currently serves on the Science and Technology Council where she chairs the committee on Digital Preservation of Motion Pictures.

Kathleen has been organizing assets be it analog, digital, or analog to digital for discovery and reuse since 1989. She embraces usability challenges and appreciates it is not enough to find an asset but to also know if an asset can readily be reused.
