Daniel is an analyst within the B2B Research team, having joined Savills in June 2021. He works across a range of consultancy projects and publications, with a focus is on planning and policy. He works closely with Savills’ Planning teams and manages the Savills Planning Database, as well as producing the quarterly "English Housing Supply" publication.

  • House prices and transactions (past and forecast).
  • Supply and demand metrics, where is the market heading?
  • Are we on track for 10% house price falls this year, in line with our forecasts?
  • Planning – where is government policy heading? How is it impacting the market?
  • Land supply – what’s happening to land values and land supply? Is enough land coming to market? What are the implications?
  • Rental values – are values still rising? Is there enough available stock for renters?

Guy is an associate within the residential research team at Savills. He works with a wide range of clients but his focus is investment consultancy. He works closely with Savills’ Operational Capital Markets team and creates bespoke consultancy reports for clients involved in Build to Rent development and investment. He manages the Savills/BPF UK Build to Rent database and produces the quarterly "UK Build to Rent Market Update" publication.

Hamish is an Associate Director in the residential research team and has worked at Savills for just over seven years. The primary focus of Hamish’s work is planning and development, providing insight for a broad selection of clients operating in the built environment, ranging from housebuilders to public sector bodies. He is a member of Savills’ Planning Thought Leadership Group and contributes to annual and quarterly publications relating to land supply and housing need. Prior to working at Savills, Hamish was a research assistant at a Growth Hub in Buckinghamshire.
