Andrew specialises in construction and engineering law, both contentious and non-contentious. He advises clients including developers, funders, contractors and professional consultants in relation to construction projects. He is experienced at drafting and negotiating a wide range of construction contracts. He also frequently advises clients in relation to distressed projects, and has significant experience of adjudications, mediations and other forms of dispute resolution. Andrew previously spent seven years working in project management, credit strategy and debt recove

Joe is a Senior Associate in the Firm’s Real Estate Disputes team. Joe has significant experience of commercial disputes involving property elements. 

Stephanie has worked within a variety of sectors while working for both public and private clients nationally. She is experienced in all areas of development and commercial management including cost advice, feasibility studies, comparative design studies, value engineering, co-ordination and programming. Stephanie has undertaken projects using a wide variety of procurement strategies and contract forms.  

Session 1: Repurposing and Rejuvenating Initiatives – Town Centre Adaption from a Policy Perspective

The Government’s many initiatives on town centres, including the work of the Towns and Levelling Up Funds, the High Streets Task Force and proposals to shake up the planning system. This session will also focus on some of the possible public policy solutions to the issues faced by the high street post-pandemic, including tax and insolvency reform and initiatives such as Town Centre Investment Zones.
