Karen Williams is a dedicated mentor to aspiring photographers, advocating for equitable access to information within the industry. With more than 10 years of experience in photography, Karen is a visual creative director, keynote speaker, and founder of Black Visual Queen a photography consulting firm. An industry insider, she’s had a hand in visual stories for iconic brands like Netflix, Masterclass, Square, Wired, AARP, and San Francisco. In her free time, she loves marathon training and all things pop culture.Karen lives in Los Angeles, California.

Daniel Winstead is the AD, Global Content Platforms at Kimberly-Clark. He has spent most of his career in the content space, including almost a decade with leading PIM and DAM software. Dan has held roles in Program Management and Customer Success, overseeing dozens of DAM and PIM implementations. Today, he leads the content teams at Kimberly-Clark. That includes ownership of DAM, PIM, and syndication platforms. Recently, Dan collaborated with global K-C business teams to fund a three-year capital investment for the transformation and modernization of their content platforms.

Kelly works as a DAMS specialist for international broadcast news and other global organizations. She has worked with NPR, The Word Bank, and Al Jazeera, and is currently with Radio Free Asia.

Mark is an accomplished technologist with a 24-year career at Mars. He is noted for leveraging cutting-edge technologies, especially AI, which he uses to enhance business performance.

Currently, Mark leads an advanced AI product development team within Mars' science and diagnostics division.

With more than 30 years of experience in the field of digital asset management, Folke is today the Product Owner Omnichannel Content at Richemont. After having initially been responsible for the introduction and roll-out of a central DAM to Richemont’s Luxury Maisons, he initiated and defined the vision for a group-wide Omnichannel Content Platform 3 years ago, bringing together PIM and DAM and adding centralized management of contextualization.

Ryan is the Practice Lead for the Insights & Analytics team at Salt Flats. Ryan oversees the strategic direction, project and client management, and project execution for the team.​

Ryan has been with Salt Flats for 6+ years. During his time, he has worked with creative operations and Digital Asset Management teams across the world, implementing new technologies, processes, and governance teams.

This workshop is designed to deepen and sustain your arc of growth with DAM.  The workshop is built around the internationally recognized DAM Capability Model - supporting the ongoing renewal and growth of DAM in your organization.  It will benefit all DAM users; those new to the community, seasoned veterans, and everyone in between.

Laura has been working in and around digital asset management for over a decade. She’s held a progressive series of roles in DAM for a diverse range of national organizations across public, private, and non-profit sectors and, since 2020, has worked as an independent consultant before forming Digitheque Group in 2022.

Through her experience, she’s worked on almost every aspect of DAM including procurement and implementation, metadata and taxonomy development, migration projects, and overhauling systems in dire need of a refresh.
