Alysia Slusser: For 15 years Alysia has been creating in-house designs for a variety of corporations and not-for-profit organizations. Chris is the Director of Content Management Services at Allied Vaughn with experience supporting the strategic and operational needs for a variety of CMS platforms including DAM, PIM, and Rights & Royalty Systems. With a career originating in corporate communications and archives he is considered an industry expert in media restoration, preservation and fulfillment.

Rachel Kohl began her career in DAM by spending over 10 years managing digital assets within the television industry. She brought her expertise to Widen / Acquia in 2020 as a DAM Implementation Consultant. She prides herself on her problem-solving skills, with a knack for piecing together complex puzzles to tailor solutions that perfectly fit the unique needs of each customer scenario.

At its best, digital asset management systems can drive efficient content operations and brand coherence. But, there are plenty of reasons why a DAM solution might fall short of its promise. It can be especially difficult to know what changes to make if you’ve inherited DAM admin responsibilities with little context on operational structure, content, and users. On top of that, there’s no stopping the flow of new assets as the show must go on.
