Part 1: Introduction to Design Thinking
Design thinking as used in technology development; how design thinking took us from web 1.0 to web 2.0 and beyond. The contents of the designer’s toolkit and how they relate to DAM are revealed. The basic concepts underlying effective implementation are explained.

Part 2: Workshopping It: Gathering Business Requirements

In this series we cover design thinking as an approach to solving business problems and the benefits of using this methodology to generate creative solutions - fast and at low-cost.    We explain the processes, resources, and frameworks of the creative designer and how they are applied in a business and technology context.

As the parent company of some of the biggest retail brands in the DIY market, Kingfisher’s ambition is to become the leading home improvement company in Europe.
To deliver this objective, they have embarked on a journey to become ONE Kingfisher.

The work being undertaken to drive this ambitious goal forwards, includes an innovative group-wide digital content programme. This involves migrating and holding all digital content assets into one asset management system. The rollout and successful implementation of DAM across the Kingfisher group is managed by Georgina.

For today’s digital age a new approach for asset management is needed. Get rid of old ways of working.

Gone are the days of legacy work streams requiring up to two weeks for teams to ready content. This timeline simply doesn’t work in our content-craving world. Leading brands need a DAM solution that can keep up with an ever-increasing demand for content, compress lengthy workflows, and automate repetitive manual tasks.

It’s Time to Automate with Cutting-Edge DAM features.
