Fraser Charles is the Head of Strategic Partnerships at MediaValet. Since joining MediaValet in 2016, he’s been building a partner ecosystem focused on partnerships that integrate new technologies with DAM, provide customers with value-added services and unlock new channels for revenue growth.

Christopher started in the world of film & entertainment, working at companies such as Dreamworks Animation and Disney's AFV as a Digital Asset Manager. He now works with Orange Logic to help organizations change the way they interact with their DAM, sharing innovative solutions that combine the latest in digital asset management solutions with tools designed for preservation.

Megan is a senior member of the Digital Strategy team at Glasgow based award-winning agency, Equator. She recently joined from Edrington where she looked after their global DAM and PIM systems, helping to optimise content and streamline ways of working for their marketing teams all over the world.

With experience in many areas of digital, Megan is excited to join us this year to help guide the conversations of Digital Transformation, particularly when it comes to media management.

Is Visual Search better?

Since the very first DAM systems, and for 30 years since then, search success for visual objects has been tied directly to the quality and completeness of associated textual metadata.

The question: does searching based on metadata (which may or may not be present or complete), even with auto-tagging, yield the results you need to get full value from your DAM?
