Kristin Burns has spent her career helping people craft beautiful designs with the perfect creative assets. Whether photo editing, photographing or managing digital imagery, she has continuously worked across teams to ensure stakeholders stay on-brand and on-deadline. When it comes to digital asset management (DAM) systems, Kristin has launched both enterprise vendor solutions as well as proprietary systems working with providers and third-party integrators to build to the company’s requirements.

Tracy leads the metadata practice that optimizes findability for Adobe Stock’s 180 million creative assets which include images, graphics, videos, 3D objects, templates and more. Ever since an advertising agency image project propelled Tracy to obtain an MLIS, her exciting career has included wildly successful stints managing digital assets and content for companies like DDB, Corbis Images, The Seattle Public Library, Getty Images, and McGraw-Hill Education. Her experience includes vocabulary management, taxonomy development, tagging, automation, and operational process design.

Jacob is the Group Director of Operations at Grey New York. With 15 years of Project Management and Operations experience in the Health & Wellness space, he’s seen a lot, but is never done learning. Partnering with clients based in the US and around the world, Jacob has successfully led multi-channel product launches, and managed all types of projects across a wide range of categories including cardiovascular, oncology, diabetes, immunology, neurology, and hematology. 

Austin is a Senior Sales Advisor and has helped organizations evaluate and implement Acquia DAM (Widen) since 2017. He joined Acquia via its 2021 acquisition of Widen, and continues to address the unique needs of every DAM project with his diverse experience across numerous industries and organizations.

When trying to create your seamless Digital Asset Supply Chain it is often very hard to handle the upstream part. This is especially true when it comes to buying content from outside creatives, contractors, agencies and stock content providers.

Usually sourcing is inefficient. People frequently search, find and buy content pieces, handle discussions by e-mail, download files to their local drive, enter critical (license) metadata in the DAM or DRM system – all manually.

John Passmore is the Director of Streaming and On-Demand Audio Architecture at New York Public Radio. He was previously the  Archives Manager at NYPR where he worked on the preservation and restoration of historic audio recordings. John has also been a film archivist, time-based media conservator, and studio and touring musician.
