Andy White is a director within the property tax team of Gleeds Advisory. He has practiced in the field of capital allowances for over twenty years. This has mainly related to commercial property transactions and property development and his clients include some of the best known UK property investment funds and property companies, as well as corporate clients and high wealth individuals.

After obtaining an honours degree in Estate Management from Reading University, Simon started his career working at Dron & Wright in the City of London. After working for Knight Frank and St Quintin (now CBRE), Simon commenced his own practice in 1993 with John Peiser, former senior partner of Fuller Peiser (now BNP Paribas).Simon specialises in property investment, development and valuation, primarily in the Central London market. His clients include Canary Wharf Group, Land Securities and the City of London Corporation.

A graduate of Edinburgh University, Derek qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1984 and was elected a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in 1993. He gained a post-graduate Diploma in Arbitration from the College of Estate Management and, via examination, became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in 1996 and the National Association of Estate Agents in 2004.

Richard is Head of the Hotels & Leisure group. Clients describe Richard as a talented and widely skilled commercial lawyer. They value his industry knowledge and his ability to find solutions on complex deals. Richard's clients include privately held companies and high net worth individuals, families and entrepreneurs needing advice on international corporate and commercial transactions. He's particularly well-known for his experience on hotel management and franchise agreements, TravelTech and branded residences.

Peter Village QC “remains a go-to presence at the bar” in planning and environmental law, and associated judicial review and commercial law cases, particularly in significant residential and retail cases. His planning practice covers the full range of developments including residential, retail, airports and infrastructure projects. He played a central part in the most important planning litigation of recent years – CALA Homes – and masterminded the successful challenge to the Secretary of State’s decision to revoke Regional Strategies (CALA No 1).

About the Series
